On YHRD there are 9 samples with DYS385=8-15. 6 samples belong to haplogroup R1a and 3 samples to haplogroup R1b.
Marco Grassi, testing with www.yseq.net his friend Ratti from Liguria, found this haplotype:
Y37:
13 23 14 12 8-15 12 12 12 13 13 29 17 10-10 11 11 25 15 19 30 15-16-16-17 11 10 19-23 15 15 20 17 35-36 12 12
It matches closely a sample from Liguria from Boattini et al.
Y17:
13 23 14 11 8-15 12 13 12 13 13 29 17 xx-xx xx xx xx 15 19 xx xx-xx-xx-xx xx 11 xx-xx 15 xx xx xx xx-xx xx 12 23
The samples on YHRD are 1 from Tuscany
Minimal haplotype:
13 25 14 11 8-15 xx xx xx 13 13 30 xx xx-xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx-xx-xx-xx xx xx xx-xx xx xx xx xx xx-xx xx xx xx
one from Honduras
Minimal haplotype:
13 23 14 11 8-15 xx xx xx 13 13 30 xx xx-xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx-xx-xx-xx xx xx xx-xx xx xx xx xx xx-xx xx xx xx
and the last from Brasil, Rio Grande do Sul, where Italian immigration was huge:
Y17:
13 25 14 10 8-15 xx xx 13 13 14 30 17 xx-xx xx xx xx 15 19 xx xx-xx-xx-xx xx 11 xx-xx 16 xx xx xx xx-xx xx 12 23
Thus these haplotypes belonging to hg. R1b1a2-U152-L2 seem deep rooted in Italian population, above all from the Tyrrhenian coast (Liguria and Tuscany above all).
