The H experimental tree has been considerably revamped with masses of new SNPs listed

to show the new Haplogroup H general H category, as well as F3 as a new branch and other F* samples as a third branch. We are waiting on the various labs to approve the naming of the general H category, and that will pave the pay to adding these to the ISOGG tree -- a bit over 2,000 SNPs. H is a major haplogroup of southern Asia, but it is has been almost ignored in tree development.

I take the experimental tree of the haplogroup H maintained by Ray Banks,and I do the calculation with the same hypotheses of the other haplogroupes: 1 mutation every 115 yaers + 35 recent private mutations.

The diiference betwwenthe number of mutattions according to the branches and sub-branches is not onlt caused by the aleatory occurence of mutations, but also by the success and number of testees in each ones.

With the same hypothese 1 mutation every 115year (+ 35 recent private mutations), we will wait for a result of about 80-85,000 years instead of 71,185BP in the longest branch, a lack of about 11,500 years and therefore , even about 100 missing mutations compared to other haplotree like G and C3.
