Private SNPs (all): 27
Best qual: 13 (48.15%) [10 (37.04%) - best; 3 (11.11%) - acceptable]
INDELs: 0
Ambiguous qual: 14 (51.85%)

So if one SNP is equal to 140-150 years I saw that’s used in previous posts this correspond about 1820-1950 years that is quite close the estimated age of the Y5003

MACK,

Great to hear that you received your YFull results! Any information you can share on your STR matches (both close and distant) from YFull would be greatly appreciated. :)[/quo

Hello James

Have to wait for the str results to the beginning of June as it looks at this moment.
Have you joined any group at YFull site?

MACK, No I have not joined any of the YFull groups yet. Any recommendation for any existing group or would it be better to start our own group?

My father's Big-Y results (FT DNA Kit #202123)...

BAM file has been downloaded from FT DNA... and was today submitted to YFull for analysis. Now we wait...

Some Big Y customers got an email notice that their BAM file was initially incorrect and had to be fixed, but in the three cases that I looked at, the new BAM file is exactly the same as the old (as shown by "fc /b file1 file2"). Moreover, YFull has already validated the files in all three cases.

I can only presume that either:
- The files were fixed very soon after release, and the notice is late; or
- Only some files were affected, not all.

My father (FT DNA kit# 202123) also received a message that his first Big-Y BAM file was not good.

I am now in the process of helping him submit the 2nd one ("corrected BAM file") to YFull. However, I read the message that you post now, and I wonder if my father's 1st BAM file was really OK.

Probably I should still submit the 2nd one to YFull.. just to be safe.

In my case, I had downloaded the file myself, so I knew for a fact that new and old were identical.

Okay everyone. My father's Big--Y test (FT DNA kit #202123) BAM file has now been analyzed by YFull.

Is there anything that I have to do now... in order for our friendly project administrators (at the "Polish Project" of FT DNA) to make use of the data?

I'm looking for some direction here. I want to make the YFull analysis available to our well-qualified team of experts (those who first started this deeper study of N-L551 back in December 2014).

I will ask this question in the FT DNA "Polish Group" website/forum also...

You can certainly join the N group/project on YFull. In your YFull account, on the left side, click on Groups, then click on N, then click on Join Request. For the Comment, just enter "N-L551". Check the agreement box, and click the Send button.

However, that only lets the N administrator, Vladimir Volkov, see your results.

Otherwise, there are two choices:
1) Someone could ask YFull to set up a group specifically for N-L551. I would be happy to be a co-administrator, but preferably not the primary (unless no one else is willing to take this on).
2) You can copy&paste your "Best qual" and "Acceptable qual" Novel SNPs in an email to me (or anyone else).

Thank you Larry...

I will follow the suggestions you have shared.

Just want to give these results to the proper people... because that was the original reason my father's Y-DNA was Big-Y tested.

(to help learn more about the different branches/structure of N-L551).

Larry... if I want to e-mail you the "best qual" & "acceptable qual" Novel SNPs from YFull, how exactly should I copy the information to an e-mail?

Should I use the "download .CSV" feature at the upper right side... on the YFull "Novel SNP" page?
