A lot of SNPs between your (and my) branch of L1026+ and Nimissin's L1026-.

The problem is that L440, L604, L1005, P305 are SNP at A and BT level. Which means that FTDNA quality control is dodgy.

There have been some major upheavals at the root of the haplotree, based on new Hg A finds. A number of SNPs had their definition of derived versus ancestral reversed.

If you look at Finch2 for example, alleles match properly between various results, but derived vs ancestral may not match between the older and new samples.

So actual alleles are correct, just the calls that are dodgy. :)

BTW, is there anyone who is willing to share their Hg N Geno 2.0 results file with me? I''m trying to sort out whether some SNPs are Hg K or Hg P and some Hg N results would help sort that out.

david

I'll be happy to share my results when i get them - i've been stuck on 60% for what seems like forever; hoping to see my results soon!

I updated the table of SNPs:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... sp=sharing
Y-DNA: N1с1d*; P188-; M178+; P298+; P21-; P67-; P119-; L248+(23andMe); L248-(FamilyTreeDNA); L550+; L1025+

Thank you for the tables. But there seems to be a strange thing at line 46 Hommik, he seems to have tested oposite at 23andMe and FTDNA for L224 and L225.
Can I ask you why?

The strange thing like this happend with me too.
23andMe found L248+ in my Y-DNA and FTDNA found that I'm L248-.

Since then both Hommik and me are unaware who works more accurate 23andMe or FamilyTreeDFNA.

Not too bad, one of them is right :-) But are they willing to reanalyze?

We know the our nucleotides that were found in Hommik Y-DNA:
L224 (rs810811 C->T)
L225 (rs810814 C->T)

and my Y-DNA:
L248 (rs9306838 C->T)

FTDNA gives us:
L224: http://ymap.ftdna.com/cgi-bin/gb2/gbrow ... 3Adatabase
L225: http://ymap.ftdna.com/cgi-bin/gb2/gbrow ... 3Adatabase
L248: http://ymap.ftdna.com/cgi-bin/gb2/gbrow ... 3Adatabase
and http://ymap.ftdna.com/cgi-bin/gb2/gbrow ... 3Adatabase

This means that FTDNA sais that 23andme made errors...
But who knows?

Kit N15634, who belongs to the rare European N1-P189.2 clade, has received and transferred his Geno 2.0 results.

Can someone with a spreadsheet figure out whether he has any new SNPs?

It's wonderfull! I hope their relatives can be found in the Geno 2.0 data base.

Let's wait for CTS9976 results: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=724&p=9830#p9806

Then I think I can create groups of candidates for the new Geno 2.0 SNPs that you can find on the tree: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=230&start=10#p9795
