Dwight, I think the BigY-test will be more useful in your case. I have got the discount coupon on BigY (75$ OFF), so I can give it to you.

The price will be 450$:

> SUBTOTAL$575.00
> Discounts- $50.00
> Coupon (edit) - $75.00
> TOTAL $450.00

Dwight,
Welcome back!

I believe I copied you some time ago on some work I did on my nearest STR matches who all are L550+ and L1025-, if not let me know. The Y17113, Y177113* and Y17415 are all in my group - Y17113 and Y17415 have Norwegian ancestry traced back to before 1500AD and Y17113* has Scottish ancestry back to about 1100AD.

I'm currently working on a diagram combining SNP, STR and Genealogy data, and, if the upload works, I have attached the latest, not completed, version.

I have done the Y4343 SNP test for the Rurikids branch and the Hg N SNP pack, but I came in negative for them all, so I'm quite sure I also belong to the new "Y17113" branch, but at the moment I'm not able to do the BigY test to verify this. If you are able to go for BigY I would love to add you to my diagram.

PS. The pdf file obviously didn't upload - what did I do wrong? I'll send you a copy by email

Hi Dwight,

Mukovnikov is right, the BigY is the best test at the moment I didn't realize the that Y17113 and Y17415 weren't in the N-SNP pack so it won't give you your terminal SNP if you were Y17113 or Y17415, to answer your question yes Y7795 is there in the drawing at L500 you can go to the Rurikids or there are 3 branches on the other side Y9454, Y7795 and Y17113 so Y7795 is the middle branch, the BigY could also answer if you are the beginning of a new branch. :D

Good morning gentlemen,

That is good question and I have a similar set still open, that is waiting for a possible new branches or not...! So I have finally budgeted BigY test in next year even,
Im certainly oriented to the results, that nothing will chance so dramatically and Im still called "old bunch" of line from early Iron Age bottleneck anyway. :D
