Hello!

I received my grandfather's MtDNA results and it was determined like HV.

Haplotype:
HVR1: C16114T, A16129G, C16189T, T16223C, G16230A, G16274A, C16519T
HVR2: G73A, A93G, A95c, C146T, C152T, C195T, A247G, 522.1A, 522.2C, 315.1C

No matches on FTDNA and MitoSearch.

Please, could anybody determine his subsclade?

Grimsvotn, these mutations are as to the RSRS. Please send me the mutations as to the rCRS by clicking on it. I have no time now to convert the two data.

Grimsvotn, you can see that the haplogroup is just that I indicated you: HV7, but with some mutations in HVRI:
HV7 G5471A G14560A
100. EU545441(Russia) Grzybowski HV7 22-JUL-2008
A93G A95C A263G 315.1C A750G A1438G A2706G A4769G G5471A C7028T A8860G C9344T G12684A T13191C G14560A A15326G G16274A C16278T T16311C T16519C

HVR1: 16114T 16187T 16274A 16278T 16311C
HVR2: 93G 95C 263G 315.1C
Of course you should get an FMS for knowing more.

Thank you for help!

That's a pitty that the place of the sample (in Russia) is unknown :|
My maternal grandpa is from Russia too, his direct mother's line from country Trebunki near Dankov town (in modern Lipetsk region).

The spreading of HV7 in two mtDNA projects on FTDNA.

- one sample from Ternopil, Ukraine,
- another one from Palermo, Italy,
- and one from Maryland, USA (probably with Italian origin too)

I am the theorist of the Italian Refugium, against all so far, but never thought that also HV7 did come from the Italian Refugium. Many thanks for your information.

Gioiello, could early carriers of HV7 be from this culture?
