Atimeres (who perhaps writes also here) posts this on Anthrogenica:

Н. А. Николаева, ЦЕНТРАЛЬНО-ЕВРОПЕЙСКАЯ ЛИНИЯ В РАЗВИТИИ БРОНЗОВОГО ВЕКА СЕВЕРНОГО КАВКАЗА
N.A.Nikolaeva, Central-European Tradition in the developmemnt of the Bronze Age in the Northern Caucasus,
Extract
The Bronze Age in the western and central parts of the Northern Caucasus was formed as a result of the migrations of the Indo-Eoropeans from the Central Europe.
The first stage of the Indo-European tradition in the Northern Caucasus (XXV - XXIV B.C.) is connected with coming the population that brought the custom to bury their deceased in the barrows with the horse-headed scepters. They are called Indo-Iranians and Tochars.
The second stage of the Indo-European tradition in this region (XXIII - XXII B.C.) is connected with the builders of the Novosvobodnaya dolmens. They are archaeological equivalents to the Hittites and coexisted with the Indo-Arians symbolized with the vehicles.
The third stage of the Indo-European cultural tradition (XXI - XVIII B.C.) is linked with the Kuban-Terek culture, the archaeological equivalent to the population of northern Central Europe that are called the Ancient Europeans, the ancestors of the historical Celts, Italics, Germans, Balts, Slavs.

1) Firstly an observation: that Indo-Europeans came from Central Europe and not from Eastwards is also my thinking (and it was also of some linguists, amongst them the great Giacomo Devoto)
2) But I ask Atimeres (and I'd ask Nikolaeva too):
a) how is it possible that Indo-iranians (satem) and Tochars (centum) were closely linked and expanded together?
b) how is it possible that Hittites (a very old form of Indo -European language which conserves laryngeals) coexisted with Indo-Iranian languages?
c) how is it possible that "Celts, Italics, Germans, Balts, Slavs" came out from the same couch when Celts, Italics and Germans speak a centum language and Balts and Slavs a satem one?
d) the final question: how is it possible the a b and c coexisted when satem language speakings belong above all to hg. R1a whereas centum speakings to R1b?

Because neither of them had something to do with protoIE language. We should think about, let's say Cucuteni-Trypillian, as original IE culture.
