Not so many U4a3 around!

This is my paternal grandmother's group from NE England.

If you have this mt-DNA on any of your lines, please introduce yourself :-)

If you've tested with Family Tree DNA do consider joining our haplogroup U4 project. We have a small cluster of U4a3s:

Thanks Debbie

Unfortunately, I don't carry this line. It is a cousin and they tested at 23andMe!

They only have two distant matches with U4a3 from 1,057 matches. So no 'walls' coming down there!

All U4a3 matches with my managed profiles at 23andMe:

Cousin = 2 of 1,057
Me = 2 of 865.
Mother = 1 of 998
Wife = 1 of 1,154.
Mother in law = 1 of 981.

Does anybody have matches with U4a3 at any level?

Hi Debbie

I notice most are now U4a3a, with only one U4a3.

That is a huge percentage isn't it?
