With regard to human migration, I had what I consider to be an unusual experience about ten years ago. My wife and I went to Thailand for a holiday. One day, standing on a street corner in Bangkok, I looked down to see a dog near my leg, it was the nearest thing to a dingo I've ever seen. The man with it, amazingly, was of dark complection, black curly hair and had a typical Australian Aboriginal broad nose. Only his eyes betrayed his Asian roots.

I later found that the man was in fact a member of one of the indigenous Thai tribes, the dog was also considered to be an indigenous variety. To me, these were proof positive of the migration of Australian Aboriginals through Asia, down the archipelago and into Australia.
